Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to Boardgame Craft as a web-based 3D boardgame simulator, including multiplayer playtesting, creation tools, credit features, and related services.
Who these Terms apply to
These Terms form a contract between you and the Boardgame Craft service operator whenever you access or use Boardgame Craft. If you use Boardgame Craft for a company, studio, or client, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your location. If local law requires parental or guardian authorization, you may only use the service with that authorization.
Account registration and security
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless the activity results from a security issue caused by Boardgame Craft.
You must promptly notify the service operator if you suspect unauthorized access, credential compromise, or misuse of your account.
Platform scope and permitted use
Boardgame Craft may be used to create, configure, and play boardgames, card games, tile games, token games, and related tabletop experiences through a web-based 3D simulator. Features may include multiplayer rooms, test play sessions, asset creation tools, import or export flows, and related account services.
You may not use the service to violate law, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, interfere with the platform, manipulate multiplayer sessions in bad faith, or process content that you do not have rights to use.
You remain responsible for the legality, accuracy, and ownership status of the content, files, images, text, and data that you upload or generate through your workflows.
Multiplayer playtesting and simulator availability
Boardgame Craft provides tools for multiplayer test play and simulator-based interaction, but uninterrupted availability, exact physics behavior, room persistence, voice or chat continuity, and cross-device compatibility are not guaranteed. Online play sessions may be interrupted by maintenance, browser limitations, network conditions, or third-party infrastructure failures.
You are responsible for conduct within rooms you create or join, including respecting other users, avoiding harassment or abuse, and refraining from attempts to disrupt gameplay, bypass room rules, or gain unauthorized access to another user's content or session state.
User content and ownership
As between you and Boardgame Craft, you retain ownership of your original project content. You grant Boardgame Craft the limited rights needed to host, process, back up, secure, and transmit that content for service delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and product maintenance.
You represent that you have all rights required to upload, store, transform, and export the content you place in the service.
Credits and virtual goods
Boardgame Craft uses a virtual credit system. New accounts currently receive 1000 credits at sign up. Credits may be used for features such as 2D image generation, 3D model generation, marketplace asset purchases, and other designated in-product functions.
During the current test period, credit top-ups may be provided without charge at the service operator's discretion. Free test credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, are not legal tender, and may be adjusted, limited, revoked, or discontinued to protect the service or respond to abuse.
Paid credit purchases are not enabled at this time. Boardgame Craft may introduce payment, paid credit packages, or other monetized features later. If that happens, applicable purchase, billing, refund, and tax terms will be presented before payment is accepted.
Acceptable use restrictions
You may not reverse engineer the service except where mandatory law permits it, scrape the platform at scale, attempt to bypass technical limits, or use automated means that materially degrade service stability for other users.
You may not exploit, farm, duplicate, or script credits, marketplace access, generated assets, or other in-product benefits in a way that circumvents intended limits or creates unfair usage burdens.
You may not use Boardgame Craft to build or train competing models or services from non-public outputs, telemetry, or data obtained through unauthorized access.
Paid features and changes
Boardgame Craft is evolving, and features related to simulator access, multiplayer workflows, creation tools, credits, asset marketplaces, or payment may be added, changed, limited, tested, suspended, or removed when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, operations, or product development.
If paid plans, metered features, credit purchases, or marketplace transactions are introduced, additional commercial terms may apply and will be presented before purchase.
Material changes to these Terms will be posted in Boardgame Craft or on the relevant legal page. Continued use after the updated effective date means you accept the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires a different consent mechanism.
If you separately choose to receive marketing emails, Boardgame Craft may send service updates, events, promotions, feature announcements, and similar marketing communications by email. You may withdraw that consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in those emails or through your account email preferences.
Termination
You may stop using Boardgame Craft at any time. The service operator may suspend or terminate access if reasonably necessary to address misuse, legal risk, non-payment, security incidents, or repeated violations of these Terms.
Sections that by nature should survive termination, including ownership, limitations of liability, dispute provisions, and legal compliance obligations, will survive.
Disclaimers and liability limits
Boardgame Craft is provided on an as-available and as-updated basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service operator disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid to use Boardgame Craft during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 USD if no amount was paid.
Regional rights and governing law
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply in your place of residence, including rights available in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, or U.S. states with consumer privacy laws.
If mandatory local law does not require otherwise, disputes will be governed by the law designated by the Boardgame Craft operator and resolved in the competent courts for that venue. Consumer users may also rely on mandatory venue protections that local law provides.
